Context Architecture is an award-winning RIBA Chartered Practice based in London specialising in bespoke residential architecture, inspired by people, light and context. The team, led by Charles Browne-Cole, is an innovative studio of passionate architects. We firmly believe in the simultaneous cultivation of architectural intuition and poetic response, recognising the indispensable need for clarity in strategy and design across all levels. Our explorations traverse the extremes of interrelated scales, from the urban context to building and inhabitation, down to the intricate details, driven by a relentless pursuit of understanding the essence of each context.

How we work

Context Architecture offers a bespoke service, from initial design through to planning, procurement, and construction of both new builds and; remodelling, extensions and alterations to existing properties. Leveraging an extensive network of industry contacts, including Structural Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, and Party Wall Surveyors, we ensure that each project receives the right expertise.

In collaboration with established contractors and master tradespeople, we prioritise strong relationships to deliver the highest quality finish at a competitive price. Recognising the uniqueness of every project, our service adapts to the specific needs of each client, offering consultation on separate phases of the design and construction process.
